The comfort double room I booked had a great shower and a double bed, and the location was fantastic, really close to the Domus Aurea Ruin.

This place is situated close to an Oppian hill, which provides an amazing and fantastic setting 🌄. There are plenty of dining and drinking options in the vicinity, making it convenient to hop over to nearby restaurants and bars 🍽️.

The thick curtains and shutters were a pleasant surprise in keeping out morning light. The cold water dispenser was a game-changer, allowing us to refill bottles easily. The luxurious shower and ample towels/linen made for a luxurious stay. The late self-check-in process was smoothly organized. The host was lovely, and check-in was hassle-free for our late arrival. The price of the stay was amazing, offering great value for money. The modern room was clean, perfect for a short city break. The use of an iPad and free Wi-Fi was a nice touch. I recently stayed at a small, stylish B&B close to the Colosseum called Mecenate Rooms for a city break. The location was perfect, in a safe and up-standard neighborhood, with all the attractions within walking distance. The large, beautifully decorated rooms were both comfortable and clean. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Considering the discounted price we paid, it was excellent value for money. One of the best hotels in its price class.
